Recourse

Returns and warranty claims tied to the order: dates per item, RMA numbers, one history both sides read, and WooCommerce's own refund.

Recourse is for WooCommerce shops handling returns and warranty claims.

What it does

Inside Recourse

Dates per item

on each order the customer sees, for every item, until when it can be returned and until when its warranty runs. The form only offers what is still possible.

Warranties per product

none, a number of days, months or years, or lifetime. Mark any product "final sale".

RMA numbers in your own format, e.g. RMA-2026-00042.

Clear statuses

new, approved, waiting for the item (with the return label or tracking), received, resolved - or rejected with a reason, or cancelled by the customer while it waits. Both sides see the same history; the customer is emailed at every step.

Nothing claimed twice

what was bought, less what was refunded, less what is already on a request.

Refunds done properly

resolve a claim as refunded and WooCommerce's own refund is made on the order - back through the gateway or recorded for a manual refund, with restocking - never more than those items were paid.

Restocking fee (optional) only when the reason is not your fault, never on a warranty claim.
