Cogwheel
WooCommerce cost of goods and true profit, with payment fees and labels
Cogwheel is for shop owners who want profit, not just sales.

Inside Cogwheel
A cost on every product and every size , with one cost for the whole product as the default.
Written onto the order when it is sold , so a supplier's price rise next month does not rewrite last month.
The costs an order really carries
the goods, the payment processor's fee per gateway ("stripe: 2.9% + 0.30", which is not given back on a refund), and the shipping label - the real figure when you type it on the order, an estimate otherwise, clearly marked.
Refunds handled
returned goods take their cost off; a fully refunded order shows what it still cost you.
No cost is not free
sales with no cost recorded are counted and named on every report - never shown as 100% margin.
Profit by day, week, month, product or category , best earners first, every view adding up to the same total. Download it as CSV.
Stock value at cost and at retail.
Paste costs from a spreadsheet by SKU, checked before they are saved.
Before you start
Asked first
Is tax counted as revenue?
No. Revenue excludes tax. The payment fee is worked out on what the customer paid, tax included, because that is what the processor charges on.
What happens to costs if I remove the plugin?
Its settings are removed. The costs on products and orders are kept - they are your shop's history.
