Inside Encore
Songs - one catalogue of every song, with lyrics (and a warning line for explicit ones).
Releases - albums, EPs and singles with an accessible HTML5 track player. No outside player, no tracking, no account anywhere.
Shows - date, venue, city, ticket link and a status: announced, sold out, cancelled or played. Upcoming and past are split by your site's own time zone.
Setlists - type the songs played, one per line, with an "Encore" line before the encore. Each song links to its page.
A song page that knows everything - every release a song is on, every show it was played at, first and last played.
Stats - your most played songs live, and which songs you have never played.
Merch - outbound links to the store you already use. With WooCommerce installed, pick a product and its link and price are used.
Calendar feed - fans subscribe once at /feed/encore-shows/ and every new show turns up in their calendar.
Before you start
Asked first
Does it work with my theme?
Yes. Encore adds its parts under your own text on song, release and show pages, and through shortcodes anywhere else. It has a small stylesheet that takes your theme's fonts and colours.
Where do the audio files live?
In your own Media Library. Upload the file, copy its link, and paste it into the release's track list.
Do I need WooCommerce?
No. Merch can link to any store - Bandcamp, Big Cartel, Shopify or anything else. If WooCommerce is installed you can pick a product instead.
Does Encore sell tickets or take payments?
No. It links to the ticket seller and the store you already use. Nothing is charged through Encore.
What happens to my songs and shows if I delete the plugin?
They are kept unless you tick "Also delete every song, release, show and merch link" in Encore -> Settings before deleting it. The settings themselves are always removed.
