Never a blank page
a visitor always gets the last good list at once while YouTube is asked in the background. If YouTube is down, the list stays and it waits 15 minutes before asking again. A list that suddenly comes back empty is believed only the second time. Only logged-in editors see a note saying what went wrong.

Why only 15 videos?
YouTube's public feed gives the newest 15. For more, make a free YouTube Data API v3 key in Google Cloud (limited to your website) and paste it in the settings.
Does it load anything from YouTube before a video is pressed?
The pictures come from YouTube's picture server (i.ytimg.com). The player itself loads only when a video is pressed.
How do I show a playlist on one page and the channel on another?
